Applied Behavior Analysis

The Children’s System of Care (CSOC) approved Lee’s Developmental Services (LDS) in 2017 as an approved provider of in-home intensive Applied behavior analysis for all children/youths between the ages of 2 and 21 years old with a diagnosis of Autism.
In April 2020, the Insurance companies in the state of New Jersey expanded Insurance coverage to all children /youths with a medical diagnosis of Autism.

LDS supports evidence-based treatment methods based on the principles and procedures of Applied Behavior Analysis, including but not limited to Verbal Behavior strategies, Natural Environment Training (NET), Fluency-based Instruction, and Direct Instruction.

ABA is one of the methodology administered to all children/youths diagnosed with Autism up to 21 years old.

Eligibility for ABA services:

• Must have a diagnosis of Autism and a prescription from their medical practitioner.
• Must have a valid / current Insurance card covering ABA services.
• Agency request with parental consent a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA).
• Insurance approves authorization for assessment, to be completed by the BCBA to determine eligibility for ABA services.
• Children/youths eligible for ABA services a Behavior support Plan (BSP) is submitted to the Insurance company with the FBA.
• Insurance company authorized approval for ABA services, agency assigns a Behavior Technician.

• Behavior Specialist (Bilingual Spanish, Portuguese, and French Creole)
• Behavior Technicians (Bilingual Spanish, Portuguese, French / Creole)
